We open today’s newsletter with a message from the distant past, a speech that should have been known and retained since it was first made, a gift by President Eisenhower to the real citizens of the true American Republic. Considering the events- or even more potently- the motivation for the events being undertaken all over the world- every American should take Ike’s warning very seriously.
As we have mentioned previously, protection of the press- or, conversely, attacking its freedom, can conceivably affect every area of our lives. And, for this reason, we cannot forget the extraordinary danger all of us face because of the torture and false imprisonment of Julian Assange and the unjust and abusive jailing of Chelsea Manning. But now, again, a very important figure in investigative journalism has now been arrested, who has dared to pull apart the many untruths which have riddled government and media messages regarding Syria, Venezuela, Iran and elsewhere, has been arrested under shameful conditions. Max Blumenthal, a person of high character and courage, who understands the meaning of “We the People” in the Constitution, needs to become a fixture in our vision along with Julian and Chelsea. Here is something about the terms of the arrest. Do you think Eisenhower’s warning has any bearing on the way these three journalists are being treated?

So perhaps this was a light-hearted joke, given the fact that McCloughan took it that way. But now we recapitulate the slight question about the validity of his description the actual event, particularly the whimpering part… Perhaps he saw a Vision and he got confused momentarily between Truth and Fiction. Should we make allowance for this? After all, he is Donald Trump, a man whose political base never keeps count of his slight detours from the Truth. With such a definitive description gone awry, it now becomes possible to question other aspects of this even Like- did it really happen this time? This article in TheMind Unleashed by S. M. Gibson was published on October 28, 2019. Perhaps this event is the real deal, but perhaps also we should keep our mind opening.

WHY? OH WHY? DIDN’T WE TAKE THE OIL?
Tulsi Gabbard makes a great deal about the “regime change” wars. I absolutely think she is right. These futile wars are draining our country at a time when we are awash in personal, corporate and government debt. But I want to point out that,- in my opinion, military actions, to protect citizens from ethnic cleansing, political genocide or other immoral rationales for complete suppression of their human rights, their right for economic sustainability or to protect them from meaningless tyranny- that is, for genuinely humanistic reasons- should not be outrightly condemned. But these types of military actions by the United States should never be initiated without Congressional approval nor violate the kinds of agreed-upon security council regulations that forbid countries that have not been attacked nor are protecting their nationals abroad from imminent aggression. What we have are now constitutionally illegal incursions into other countries that violate international law- and are justified under the banner of humanitarian rescue operations but are, in truth, imperialistic efforts to secure other countries’ resources. But right now, our Congress has no care to insist on exercising its mandate to declare war nor do we have an international regulatory body with the power to enforce any of its often righteous resolutions.

The Campaign Legal Center has published an October 3rd article by Brendan Fischer and Erin Chlopak entitled “Yes- President Trump Violated Campaign Finance Law Asking Ukraine Favor.
Among its numerous points of explaining the Federal Campaign Finance Law, it says: “Some reports indicate the Justice Department concluded that what Trump solicited—a Ukrainian government probe into one of President Trump’s political rivals—did not constitute a “thing of value” for purposes of campaign finance law. This is unsupportable…The Federal Election Commission (FEC) has long held that intangible items like opposition research can be things of value, an interpretation specifically cited by Special Counsel Mueller, whose report noted that “[a] campaign can be assisted not only by the provision of funds, but also by the provision of derogatory information about an opponent.”

Impeachment by the President has been long demanded by certain members of the Democratic Party. Yet, with the progression of months, Nancy Pelosi resisted the first step in this direction, an impeachment inquiry. Yet, with a whistleblower complaint, suggesting that President Trump used his office to bargain with the President of Ukraine for negative information about one of his key political opponents, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi decided to open an inquiry. Whereas Trump recently soft-pedaled his interaction and released transcripts of his phone conversation and ultimately the whistleblower complaint that had originally been withheld from Congressional scrutiny, many who have seen it- in mainstream and alternative media have found it not as innocent as presented by the President. Some, however,even on the Democratic side, like Tulsi Gabbard, did not feel that the issue rises to the level of impeachment.

Unlike many other analysts on the Internet, Greg Mannarino offers certain critical services for free to take advantage of the stock market- up or down- in these strange times.
