VACCINES DRIVE THE STOCK MARKET UPWARD

For those watching the stock market, there is no doubt that the vaccines that will supposedly save us from this surging pandemic, gets a lot of attention. As a headline from CNBC recently declared in an article from Patti Domm says: “Vaccine news unleashes new momentum in stock market as hunkered-down investors flee cash,” The article says, ” Stocks skyrocketed and bond yields surged as investors bet Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine will help the broader economy recover and revive cyclicals and other industries that were beaten down by the pandemic…The Dow was up nearly 3%, while Nasdaq fell 1.5 as laggard sectors like energy and financials outperformed tech. Stay-at-home plays, like Netflix and Zoom were sharply lower, but airlines rallied 16%. The S&P energy sector, still down 45% this year, was up more than 14%, and financials were up 8%.”

There is no doubt that vaccines have been having a heyday in the stock market. But what are we getting for these massive investments but do investors care anyway? The mantra that “vaccines will save us” has been trumpeted by the Trump Administration and more or less, continued by the Democrats. “Just hold out your arm” and all of this nonsense will be over soon.

• Roughly seven in ten Americans may already be sensitized to PEG, which may result in reduced efficacy of the vaccine and an increase in adverse side effects.
• If a PEG-containing mRNA vaccine for Covid-19 gains FDA approval, the uptick in exposure to PEG will be unprecedented—and potentially disastrous.
• Moderna documents and publications indicate that the company is well aware of safety risks associated with PEG and other aspects of its mRNA technology but is more concerned with its bottom line.
