May 31, 2020 It is hard to believe- after so many police infractions and fatalities, we wouldn’t have learned better. Now we have paid the price- multiple rioting throughout our cities, Just as, for some of us, the lockdowns were diminishing, now we have curfews to keep us inside as well. Regardless of our culpability, we- and our businesses and jobs- are all under house arrest. The lawlessness of this event was comparable to the riots following the death of Martin Luther King. Besides the murderous behavior of Derek Chauvin and the needless death of his victim, George Floyd, we have had plenty of examples of government indifference to police brutality recently. Of course, a great deal was made of bringing Chauvin and the other police responsible for the murder of to justice- but whether that is a short term phenomenon or not is up for grabs. Whereas in these past few programs, we have been featuring some of the sheriffs and police who are standing up for our Constitutional rights, it is obvious we need a lot more of them. Because, if this negative economic environment continues much longer, there is going to be unrest in which the remedy is not only the quelling of angry people whose business and jobs have been taken away, but making sure their rights- including their right to thrive- is restored to them without further ado. And despite the turmoil and criminality, we believe the hands of righteous lawmen who respect their oath, may be strengthened. We need them more than ever.
This is what our world looked like after the assassination of one of our greatest leaders.
This was much like the last few days in so many cities. But those who used the terrible tragedy of his death to loot and plunder did as much dishonor to his name as did the recent protests against the murder of George Floyd dishonor his name and the cause of those righteous protestors who demanded justice not just for Floyd but the neglected and abused black people in the United States. It is too bad those who carried out the current mayhem did not heed the ideals, commitment and strategies of Martin Luter King as presented below.
Jake Morphonios of Blackstone Intelligence bring us an expansive and credible view of the events of this last Friday night.
Have we moved from Covid-19 to new major battle? To me, with the lockdown still continuing and, in some cases, getting stronger, I think we have added to- but not subtracted from the lockdowns. Unfortunately, unless we wake up, there are many things in store for us- connected in one way or another with the pandemic.
We now look at the day before our last video, when the riots began to reach astronomical proportions.
Looting and starting fires was never done as a form of legitimate protest and, for this reason, there is an aura of darkness that hangs over this event, its criminality, orchestrated by too many participants, doing no honor to the innocent victim of police brutality.
One of the thing that does puzzle me is the antagonism to the press by the protestors. Recently, I posted a video how a commentator and camera crew were arrested by the police- in what seemed to me a totally unwarranted assault on our press freedom. But I did not expect this rather extraordinary assault on the press by the protestors. When you break into a building like the headquarters of CNN in Atlanta, that is obviously a very deliberate act.
But Fox News was not spared the attention of the protestors either.
WeAreChange in the following video does not conclusively claim that there are provocateurs but they do bring up the possibility.
We haven’t seen many celebrities make the kind of efforts to understand the Covid-19 that Tony Robbins has. This is his signal to the public to maybe look more closely at the nature of this pandemic.
This is a very important current interview with Robert F. Kennedy, Junior, one of the most serious opponents of irresponsible vaccinations. I find the Dark Journalist’s perspective on the Covid-19 one of the deepest and most serious in my experience. And for most of us who care about what’s happening with the pandemic, Robert F. Kennedy’s perspective should also be coveted.
In the next video, Spiro Skouras looks into a new, alarming UN website, which purports the value of a new economic paradigm.
I know, considering the depth of the problems this world is submerged in, it could seem impossible to change the course of events. So should we give up? I say-
