Some would say this new initiative of Trump to pull our troops back from Syria, leaving our allies, the Kurds, to face the wrath of the Turkey military, is not only a betrayal of our allies but also a nice war-like distraction from the impeachment query that continues to march on. Although we have had some troops in Syria, we have also funded surrogates with suspicious credentials and anti-Western objectives to do our work as well. So the whole sad situation for the Kurds needs to be looked at in the broader miserable context. Syria has been a poster child for regime change wars with claims of false flags, sponsoring of terrorist groups, clear violations of security council resolutions and without Congressional approval mandated by the Constitution. Perhaps the most explicit of the dangers of these regime-change wars by a political candidate has been Tulsi Gabbard. Most of the realities of this situation has been neglected by Mainstream Media.

I generally like what Kim Iverson says- but in this case, I have reservations. Yes, perhaps Turkey is a formal ally but who cannot admit that the Kurds were informally allied with America- and putting their lives at stake to fight a somewhat proxy war against ISiS. Doesn’t that count as some kind of ally- in the real world? And does the fact that the Kurds appear to want a kind of socialist utopia count so much against them- just because they strive for a different kind of economy than we have? We support all kinds of governments- and this is particularly all right by me if that is what the people in those countries want- and they do not aggress against other states (and ideally their own people). But what right do the Kurds have to establish the autonomous region of Rojava in Northern Syria. For me, given their treatment by the Syrians, I would say this is perhaps a different situation than naked imperialism. This situation is under study by me. Kim says the decision was not precipitous- but the decision was made some time ago. Tell that to the people whose lives are being taken today- because they were unprepared for a lightning-like decision by a Unitary President.

Among its numerous points of explaining the Federal Campaign Finance Law, it says: “Some reports indicate the Justice Department concluded that what Trump solicited—a Ukrainian government probe into one of President Trump’s political rivals—did not constitute a “thing of value” for purposes of campaign finance law. This is unsupportable…The Federal Election Commission (FEC) has long held that intangible items like opposition research can be things of value, an interpretation specifically cited by Special Counsel Mueller, whose report noted that “[a] campaign can be assisted not only by the provision of funds, but also by the provision of derogatory information about an opponent.”

Yet, with a whistleblower complaint, suggesting that President Trump used his office to bargain with the President of Ukraine for negative information about one of his key political opponents, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi decided to open an inquiry. Whereas Trump recently soft-pedaled his interaction and released transcripts of his phone conversation and ultimately the whistleblower complaint that had originally been withheld from Congressional scrutiny, many who have seen it- in mainstream and alternative media have found it not as innocent as presented by the President. Some, however,even on the Democratic side, like Tulsi Gabbard, did not feel that the issue rises to the level of impeachment.

Unlike many other analysts on the Internet, Greg Mannarino offers certain critical services for free to take advantage of the stock market- up or down- in these strange times. A few other points- despite his quick humor and powerful grasp of the markets, he can be very sarcastic and somewhat attack-oriented in his criticisms of the mainstream narrative. Still, despite his tone, which I sometimes disagree with, his predictions about the stock market seem uncanny.
Today’s early posting might make you take a few extra breaths and a much longer cold shower if you follow the Wim Hof Method (described above). The thing that actually keeps me riveted to his vlog is his obvious commitment to his fierce role as a truthful commentator, his capacity to peer underneath the sad delusional veneer of our economy and, again, his sense of humor which probably allows him to bear his daily forage in the waste bin of economic distortion he unravels every day.
